So I used the uninstaller again and reinstalled the client - and I will no longer attempt using SSO on the desktop app. Maybe SSO is only meant for using in-browser?
I don't know. I'm using SSO and am seeing connection issues on the zoom desktop. A new meeting is attempted and we see the connection attempts going in a loop. This has loop can continue for over an hour.. Traffic analyser shows timeout errors, and the zoom appears to be connecting to their HT Tunnels. Unfortunately not. I don't have the knowledge to do any significant network analysis.

Thanks a lot yuan-stanley. It works! Then open Zoom again. It should recreate the folder and you should be good. Have been fighting with this for weeks. And it worked! Crossed fingers As an IT professional, I was trying to help my wife with her Zoom on windows and of course, I broke it, resulting in the error messages folks are getting here. It's because I tried to sign her in with SSO, which she doesn't use.
She always joins as a guest, and doesn't actually sign into Zoom. The fix was to sign her in with a working personal account, then sign out. It stopped prompting her for an SSO sign-on.
